Excel, Dashboards & Data Analysis
Custom Excel tools, dashboards, KPI systems and data analysis, including improvement and review of existing models.
Daniele Borghi
I work across data, processes, people and decisions, helping companies and projects understand problems more clearly and turn analysis into practical solutions.
Management Engineering (ICT) · Production Planning · Digital Marketing · Strategic Analysis

I have always been interested in understanding how systems work: how people, information, processes and decisions interact, and why some organizations work better than others.
That same perspective connects much of what I do today — from operations and data to digital projects, market research and strategy.

About

I have always been interested in understanding how systems made of people, information and decisions work: why some organizations function better than others, how different activities are coordinated, how responsibilities and resources are distributed, and how a decision made in one place can create consequences much further away.
I find the same interest across fields that may appear very different — from organizational design to strategy, from history and geopolitics to technology and entrepreneurship. They often lead back to the same questions: what is the actual problem? Which information really matters? Who needs to be involved? How do we move from analysis to execution?
My degree in Management Engineering (ICT) gave me a foundation for approaching these questions through processes, data and technology. During university, I also completed an internship at the Military Academy of Modena, giving me the opportunity to observe an organizational environment very different from the academic one.
My first professional experiences then took me into consulting and industry. I started at OT Consulting, working on RPA and Process Mining projects, including work for a major consulting firm, and later spent around nine months at Bosch in an international industrial environment.
For more than three years, I have worked in Production Planning at Acetaia Leonardi, where I deal every day with demand, production capacity, data, people, priorities and unexpected events. It is an environment where analysis and planning only create value when they can ultimately be translated into execution.
Alongside my main role, I continue to develop projects and collaborations in digital, market research, local development and strategy. The approach remains similar: define the problem, gather and verify useful information, connect different elements and build something that can actually be used.
That is probably the common thread running through my path: understanding how a system works, and trying to make it work better.

Previous collaborations include Umberto Miletto and Burningate.
Projects across business, local development and strategy.
Artificial intelligence can now generate analyses, texts, formulas, presentations and even entire projects very quickly.
The harder part is understanding whether the result is correct, relevant to the real context and actually usable.
That is why I can also start from work already created with AI: reviewing it, checking assumptions and sources, correcting weaknesses and turning it into something more reliable and professionally usable.
Approach
Clarify context, objectives, constraints and available material.
Agree on what needs to be delivered and what the work should achieve.
Develop the solution, or improve and verify what already exists.
Deliver the work and review the outcome, its use and possible next steps.
Tell me briefly what you are trying to achieve and we can see whether I can help.
